Huawei launched theHUAWEI Ascend P6 at its first National Distributor Confer4ence in Colombo, SriLanka on October 26. The smartphone’s stunning design and intuitive userexperience received praise from the more than 200 distributors and media whoattended the event. Special guests included Mr. Jayanath Colombage, Sri Lanka’sNavy Commander, Mr. Karunatilaka Amunugama, Foreign Secretary, and Mr. JayanthaWickramasing, Lanka Logistics CEO. Within two days of the launch event, Huawei’slocal partner Singer Sri Lanka, the country’s largest electronic productretailer and distributor, began stocking the Ascend P6. Asa result of the Singer partnership which began in 2012, Huawei has leapfroggedto become the number three smartphone brand in Sri Lanka.
