我还要再说说我的准备工作，因为前戏真的很重要，很重要。
机票是有了，但旅店还没有着落。1966年朝鲜足球队打世界杯足球赛的时候，没有想到自己进八强，竟然提前将机票订好，后来落得到处找宾馆的境地。如果用旅行社的自助游，一般会包含至少一晚的旅店。我们是完全自助，只能自力更生了。《Lonely
Planet》又用上了，它介绍了各种各样的旅店，便宜的也就是背包族最爱的是Guesthouse（简称GH），价格从3美元到30美元不等。如果你图节省，不要热水洗澡，不要空调降温，那大约5美元就能拿到一个标准间。但他们的hotel却是和国际接轨了，上百美金的也有不少，柬埔寨国家图书馆不远处就是金边大酒店（Phnom
Penh
Hotel），相当于北京饭店，我们的南航办事处就在里面，能够感觉到这是金边最为高档的饭店之一了，里面还有一个Vagas的赌场。想想这个国家有1/3的人口每天的收入不足1美元的时候，心里有点不是滋味。
我们作为赤贫（也就是红色中国的贫下中农），只选择GH，还有一个原因就是既然是背包，就要有背包的感觉。北京人有四大傻，其中一个就是吃龙虾，那如果去柬埔寨自助游，还去住Hotel，也算是驴友的大傻之一了。
除了《Lonely Planet》推荐的GH外，我还通过一个

You can get the bus to Siem Reap, it costs 5.75$ one way per person
and takes about 6 hours by A/C bus (Capitol Bus). Departure time:
7h30AM ( the earliest one). If you would like to book, please
confirm.

可是，当我去信确认的时候，收到了一封客满的抱歉信件，我还有一天就要出发了，宾馆突然出现了变故，而且没有时间再去预约其他GH，那只能走一步说一步吧。人家八强进了，没有宾馆也高兴，俺吴哥还没影，咋能高兴起来，呜呜。
