華為於台灣時間(18)日晚間21點在英國倫敦舉辦旗艦機Ascend P6全球發佈會，截至6月20日中午12:00，短短一天內HUAWEI Ascend P6倫敦上市記者會的總報導量已達77則。其中，主要的日報媒體包括蘋果日報、經濟日報、工商時報、中國時報，網路媒體包括台灣前三大手機網路媒體，手機王、比價王、Mobile01及癮科技、VR ZONE、鉅亨網、聯合新聞網、ETtoday、中央社、精實新聞…等皆有正面且大篇幅的報導。此外，手機王、比價王以及Mobile01均將華為Ascend P6的新聞刊登於首頁新聞。露出新聞的重點內容不只強調出Ascend P6的重點功能，且評價相當正面，而報導的內容包括介紹Ascend P6輕薄的外型、優於業界它款手機的規格、卓越的拍照功能、華為獨家 Emotion UI 1.6 操作介面和AirSharing 傳輸等。台灣媒體對於Ascend P6在台灣上市時會受到的歡迎程度多抱以期待的態度。
